The Recruitment Specialist's key focus is to execute recruitment strategies and plans focused on passive candidates, with the aim of achieving high quality, cost effective and timely filling of roles. He / She will work closely with the Recruitment Manager to provide input into recruitment strategy and real-time feedback on recruitment strategy effectiveness.
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, the Recruitment Specialist will assist in driving best practice recruitment strategies and strive to be an ambassador for the Mary Grace Foods, Inc.'s brand at every interaction. Ultimately, he / she will be responsible for building a strong talent pipeline for our Mary Grace Foods Inc.'s current and future staffing needs
Hiring and Staffing
- Acts in the front line of the recruitment efforts and activities.
- Creates job postings on Mary Grace Foods, Inc. website, social media handles and online job boards to attract candidates who meet specific qualifications.
- Reviews resume and applications to ensure all relevant information is included.
- Interviews candidate to assess qualifications and experience, as well as to determine cultural fit with Mary Grace Foods, Inc.'s culture.
- Prepares and conducts job offer for candidates who have been selected for hire.
- Conducts face-to-face and virtual applicant screening.
- Greets and assists interviewees onsite.
- Follows through successful candidates until completion of pre-employment requirements and first six months from onboarding.
Ethics and Values
- Role models and upholds Mary Grace Foods' vision, mission, values and customer service model consistently.
- Manages sensitive and confidential matters in relation to recruitment.
- Conducts and processes background checks in select roles.
- Sends "not preferred" notices to candidates who have not been selected for hire.
Relationship Building
- Oversees the ongoing hiring needs of Mary Grace Foods, Inc.'s business and establishing the right sourcing mix to generate a strong pool of talent for open roles.
- Liaises and forges partnership with universities, schools, inter-party agencies, local government units and other institutions.
- Engages target talents and establishes network of contacts and thru social media, inter-party agencies, local government units, third-party organizations, job fairs, universities, etc.
- Develops a network of potential candidates and industry professionals.
- Interacts with professionals on niche platforms.
- Collaborates with the department heads to identify each position's requirements.
- Contacts past applicants for new job opportunities.
- Identifies future hiring needs and proactively sources potential hires.
- Successfully and seamlessly hands off successful pool of applicants to the hiring manager for next-level interviews.
- Logs candidate's information in our Applicant Tracking System and other internal databases
Internal and External Communication
- Acts as the key point of contact and escalation point for all sourcing - related inquiries and concerns.
- Reviews online portfolios and resumes to pre-screen candidates.
- Designs and conducts engaging talent outreach campaigns.
- Actively sources for referrals from internal and external networks for hard-to-fill roles.
Business Correspondence
- Drafts and publishes attractive job advertisements and managing responses.
- Measures and reports on recruiting metrics, like source of hire and time-to-fill.
- Sends recruiting emails and follows up with candidates.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of any Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or any other related course.
- At least 3 years work experience as a Recruitment Specialist, or similar role in retail or food and beverage industry.
- Full Time and On-Site in Arca South, Taguig
