About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Administrator with a minimum of 5 years of proven expertise in managing and optimizing Azure cloud environments. This role is onsite and will require strong technical knowledge, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient cloud operations.

As the Azure Administrator, you will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and maintaining Azure services while ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards. You will also support release management, conduct regular system health checks, and provide comprehensive reporting to ensure system reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Azure Environment Management: Configure, monitor, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Security & Access Control: Manage security groups, access rights, and role-based access controls (RBAC) across the environment.
  • Compliance Reviews: Conduct annual compliance and policy reviews, ensuring alignment with industry and organizational standards.
  • Release & Change Management: Oversee release cycles, system changes, and updates while ensuring proper documentation.
  • System Health Monitoring: Perform daily system health checks, monitoring logs, and alerts using Azure monitoring tools.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date system documentation, prepare regular reports, and coordinate with stakeholders on findings.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on IT, security, and business requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Azure Administrator or in a similar cloud administration role.
  • Strong expertise in Azure Active Directory, Azure Security, Policies, and Governance.
  • Proficiency with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other monitoring/compliance tools.
  • Experience with release management, system upgrades, and incident resolution.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and ability to conduct policy reviews.
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)
  • Azure Certifications (e.g., AZ-104: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate).
  • Familiarity with PowerShell or other automation scripting tools.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure + on-premise).
