Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Azure Engineer to join our

Manila-based team in a hybrid work setup. The ideal candidate will have strong

expertise in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on the

Microsoft Azure platform, while collaborating with global counterparts to ensure

secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

● Cloud Infrastructure Design & Deployment:

○ Architect, implement, and manage Azure-based infrastructure (IaaS,

PaaS, SaaS).

○ Deploy and configure Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App

Services, Azure Functions, Storage Accounts, Networking, and

Databases.

● Operations & Maintenance:

○ Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot Azure environments to ensure

high availability and performance.

○ Implement automation using tools such as Azure DevOps, ARM

templates, Terraform, or PowerShell.

● Security & Compliance:

○ Apply Azure security best practices, including RBAC, Azure Policy,

Key Vault, and Defender for Cloud.

○ Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory

frameworks (e.g., ISO, GDPR, Data Privacy Act 2012 in PH).

● Collaboration & Support:

○ Work closely with global IT, operations, and development teams to

support hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

○ Provide technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge-sharing

to Manila and international teams.

● Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

○ Stay updated on Azure's evolving ecosystem (AI/ML, Kubernetes,

Containers, Serverless).

○ Recommend solutions that improve scalability, reliability, and cost

efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience:

● Education & Experience:

○ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,

Engineering, or related field.

○ 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

● Technical Skills:

○ Proficiency in Azure services (VMs, Networking, Storage, AKS, AAD,

Security, Monitoring).

○ Strong background in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM,

Bicep).

○ Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub

Actions.

○ Knowledge of Windows/Linux administration and hybrid cloud

integration.

○ Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

● Certifications (preferred but not required):

○ Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).

○ Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).

○ Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400).

● Soft Skills:

○ Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

○ Effective communicator across technical and business teams.

○ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid

Manila/global setup.
