Job Description

  • Develop and execute local commodity strategies that align with global procurement objectives.
  • Oversee RFP/RFQ activities, including supplier evaluation and selection using defined scoring metrics.
  • Negotiate procurement contracts such as Master Agreements, Statements of Work, and Change Orders.
  • Perform cost analysis, pricing benchmarks, and identify potential savings opportunities.
  • Provide sourcing support and expertise for MRO categories across different business units.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for MRO commodities, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, planning, finance, and others.
  • Develop and implement communication plans to keep stakeholders updated on supplier and procurement developments.
  • Maintain and strengthen supplier relationships to ensure supply reliability, cost efficiency, and contract compliance.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance assessments and lead improvement initiatives.
  • Handle supplier issues and ensure delivery of high-quality service.

Contract Management

  • Oversee the full contract lifecycle from negotiation through implementation.
  • Ensure adherence to contract pricing, terms, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and present quarterly reports and supplier scorecards for management review.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (preferably in Business or Engineering).
  • At least 3 years of experience in Category Management or Strategic Sourcing (preferably within MRO or related fields).
  • Skilled in SAP and/or Oracle sourcing and contract management tools.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract development abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
