JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and developing renewable energy projects from start to finish under the guidance of Solana Renewable Energy's partners. Primarily, this candidate is expected to be able to organize and handle simultaneous workstreams as it pertains to securing the multiple permits and licenses that are required from various government agencies in order to bring projects to ready-to-build status in a timely manner. The candidate is expected to be an effective communicator and be able to represent the firm when liaising with third party government agencies, funding partners and potential customers (i.e. offtakers).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee permits and licensing processes for renewable energy projects
  • Develop plan of action including schedule, resources and work plan
  • Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in project management of energy projects
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working with a team
  • Independent and fine-tuned decision making skills
