Duties and Responsibilities:

The Project Manager (PM) is the individual charged with responsibility for the complete and satisfactory execution of the project/s. The PM reports directly to the Project Director. Project managers need to have strong leadership and communication skills, and be able to manage complex projects across multiple departments. The Project Manager is the company representative on site who deals with the client/owner, 3rd party PM teams and designers, etc. His or her actions, as such, will be regarded as the company's. General duties of the Project Manager include:

  • Planning: Planning the project from the initial idea to the final completion
  • Executing: Overseeing and leading the project to ensure it is completed within the budget and timeline
  • Budgeting: Creating a budget for the project based on the available resources and needs
  • Risk management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks to the project
  • Stakeholder communication: Communicating with all the people involved in the project, including internal team members, external partners, investors, and clients
  • Time management: Ensuring the project is completed on time
  • Defining project scope: Establishing the foundation of the project, which will be the basis for all future decisions, changes, and work

· Assisting in development of the project site staff

· Coordinating on-site with corporate office activities

· Organizing and overseeing jobsite administration

· Organizing and coordinating field supervision

· Assisting in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers

· Documentations and reporting

Minimum Job Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering

· Preferable with professional license in Architecture or Engineering

· Proven working experience in construction management

· Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods

· Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards

· Understanding of all facets of the construction process

· Familiarity with construction management software packages

· Ability to plan and see the "big picture"

· Competent in conflict and crisis management

· Leadership and human resources management skills

· Excellent time and project management skills
