Executive Functions

  1. Oversee the operations of the shared services within the SBU, in particular the officers for HR, IT, PSQM, Marketing and Purchasing to ensure that they are addressing key operational goals for the SBU

  2. Supports the COO in cascading and implementing key strategies and policies set for the SBU.

  3. Participates in continuous learning through the mentoring and tutelage of the COO in order to fully understand the operations of the Organization, acting as under study as part of succession planning.

  4. Participates in immersion and exposure activities of day to day operations in order to come up with relevant recommendations to the COO.

  5. Serves as the secretariat of the office of the COO.

Strategic and Planning Function

  1. Participates in all strategic planning activities within the SBU. Consolidates and documents the entire SBU's annual strategic plan for monitoring and follow-through.

  2. Participates with the corporate office in the development and implementation of strategic plans.

  3. Ensures the attainment of Organizational objectives through the establishment and implementation of relevant policies.

Other Tasks or Functions

  1. Performs such other functions and tasks as maybe assigned or delegated by the COO from time to time.

  2. Observes and complies with existing rules, policies, agreement and regulations.

  3. Attends all official meetings.

  4. Undertakes housekeeping and cleaning chores in work areas, observes and practices safety rules and regulations (Environment of Care).
