Job Description

  • The BU IT Test Delivery Head is responsible and accountable for overseeing the quality and assurance of delivered BU IT programs, projects and BAU test activities. They define and set test strategies, understand and manage portfolio test demand, resources, dependencies, priorities, and risk.
  • Define overall test strategy and approach to support business/project requirements in collaboration with management and other relevant stakeholders
  • Estimate the effort, necessary resources, and required budget based on scope and change in demand
  • Contribute to a robust SBC test governance landscape through appropriate documenting, monitoring, and enforcement of standardized processes for testing activities
  • Work closely with BU IT delivery leads and other dependent units to ensure alignment of delivery and testing goals

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in software testing, test automation, and test management.\
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. A degree in testing or quality assurance is also common.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies, techniques and best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Test Automation, and Continuous Testing
  • Knowledge of test automation tools, frameworks and best practices
  • Knowledge of business unit specific domain
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and leading and managing teams of test analysts, test automation engineers, and test managers in a software development or testing environment.
  • Experience in project management, planning, and execution
  • Experience working with test automation tools and frameworks
  • Experience in the banking industry is a plus.
  • Experience with test planning, test execution and test results analysis.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle.
  • Strong communication skills: The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, to gather requirements, provide status updates, and report on testing progress.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: The ability to think critically and analytically to solve problems and make informed decisions.
