Payroll Assistant

General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect, verify, and maintain daily time records, attendance, and payroll-related documents for processing.
- Prepare accurate payroll computations using Excel or payroll systems, including wages, overtime, allowances, and deductions.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper recording of all payroll entries and maintain up-to-date payroll records.
- Prepare, upload, and monitor payroll payouts through payment portals and generate/distribute payslips on time.
- Prepare, reconcile, and monitor payroll summaries, reports, and tracking sheets (e.g., timekeeping vs. billings, deductions, 13th month pay, claims, disputes, and payout logs).
- Handle payroll concerns, disputes, and inquiries promptly through the in-house ticketing system and coordinate with the Payroll Supervisor as needed.
- Provide payroll reports and support to Management, INT-related parties, and third-party clients/vendors when required.
- Ensure full compliance with Labor Code, Tax Code, and statutory requirements (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, auditors, government agencies, and internal departments related to payroll processes.
- Support company initiatives, maintain internal controls and process flow, and perform other payroll-related tasks as assigned by Management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, HR, Business Administration or related field
- At least 1-2 years of work experience in payroll or related field
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and procedures, both manual and system-based
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Proficient in using shared drives and collaborative tools (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drive, and others)
- Familiar with payroll software and systems
- High attention to detail with strong accuracy in work
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Capable of handling multiple priorities and adapting to changing business needs
