About the Role:
IT By Design is looking for a
Service Desk Specialist
to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate has strong technical troubleshooting skills, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1–2 technical support for end users, including hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to
Active Directory
,
O365
, and general desktop support. - Log, track, and update tickets in the ITSM system accurately and promptly.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level engineers when needed.
- Maintain excellent communication and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- At least
1.9 years of hands-on experience
in IT Service Desk or Technical Support. - Strong knowledge of
Windows OS
,
Active Directory
,
O365
, and basic networking concepts. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- A team player with a proactive and service-oriented approach.
