Key Responsibilities:

  • Occupational Safety & Health

  • Develop, implement, and monitor occupational health and safety programs, policies, and procedures.

  • Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
  • Recommend corrective actions to prevent accidents and occupational illnesses.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations (e.g., DOLE, OSH standards, and other relevant laws).
  • Prepare and submit safety reports, incident reports, and safety compliance documents.
  • Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and trainings for employees.

  • Emergency Response & First Aid

  • Provide immediate medical care and first aid to employees in case of accidents, injuries, or medical emergencies.

  • Maintain and regularly check first aid kits, emergency supplies, and medical equipment.
  • Assist in developing and executing emergency response plans (e.g., fire drills, evacuation).
  • Coordinate with medical facilities, emergency responders, and insurance providers when necessary.

  • Accident & Incident Management

  • Investigate workplace incidents and determine root causes.

  • Prepare incident/accident reports and recommend preventive measures.
  • Monitor corrective and preventive actions until closure.

  • Other Duties

  • Assist HR and management in ensuring employee health and wellness programs.

  • Support company compliance with safety audits and external inspections.
  • Perform other safety- and health-related tasks as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or any related field (preferred).
  • With valid Safety Officer training certificate (SO2/SO3 or higher as required).
  • With valid First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in safety and health management (construction, manufacturing, or related industry preferred).
  • Knowledge of OSH standards, government regulations, and emergency response procedures.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically fit and able to respond to emergencies.

Work Environment:

  • Office and field-based depending on project/site assignments.
  • May require travel to different company locations, project sites, or external agencies.
