About the role

Geanaux Systems Corp.' is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to join our dynamic team in Metro Manila. As a Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, upholding the highest industry standards within the Construction sector.

This full-time position will see you responsible for implementing and maintaining comprehensive safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and providing training to all staff to foster a culture of safety and compliance.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures to ensure adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards
  • Investigate and document all incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Provide comprehensive safety training to all employees, covering topics such as personal protective equipment, emergency response, and safe work practices
  • Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to integrate safety considerations into all aspects of construction operations
  • Maintain detailed records and generate reports to track safety performance and compliance
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in health and safety legislation and industry best practices

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Safety Officer or a similar role within the Construction industry
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective safety management systems
  • Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to think critically, identify and mitigate risks, and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Proficient in report writing, documentation.
