Overview:

We're hiring a Contract Project Manager to support day-to-day operational needs for our Platform Operations team. This role will focus on improving how incidents and alerts are tracked, helping teams follow up efficiently, and maintaining clear metrics around detection and resolution times. This position will serve as the first step toward establishing a lightweight Network Operations Center (NOC Lite) — focused on improving visibility, coordination, and engineering support without requiring 24/7 coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Incident & Alert Tracking: Help manage the lifecycle of incidents — from logging and tracking alerts to ensuring timelines and follow-ups are recorded accurately in Jira and
  • Improve Response Metrics (MTTX): Assist in tracking how long it takes to detect and resolve issues. Keep these timelines updated and surface delays or blockers for further follow-up.
  • Maintain Dashboards & Reports: Update spreadsheets and dashboards (Google Sheets, Sigma, etc.) to reflect the latest alerting and incident data, helping teams understand operational health.
  • Assist Engineering Teams: Reduce friction by organizing post-incident action items, streamlining routine tasks, and keeping documentation clean and current.
  • Contribute to NOC Lite Foundations: Support recurring processes and playbooks that will help form the foundation of a lightweight, scalable NOC model in the future.

Requirements

  • Familiar with Jira, Google Suite, and basic dashboard/reporting tools.
  • Comfortable working with incident or alerting platforms (e.g., , Opsgenie or similar).
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage recurring operational tasks
  • Good written communication and follow-through across teams
  • Bonus: Familiarity with SRE or platform engineering environments
