We're looking for an Inventory Clerk to join our team

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records of raw materials, finished goods, and steel products. This role involves performing regular stock counts, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with warehouse and production teams to ensure proper inventory flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits
  • Track incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
  • Monitor stock levels and notify purchasing department when reorders are needed
  • Label, tag, and organize steel products by type, size, and grade
  • Coordinate with the departments to verify material usage and order fulfillment
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Ensure inventory storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
  • Assist in loading/unloading materials as needed (may require forklift use – training provided)

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of inventory, warehouse, or materials management experience (steel or manufacturing industry preferred)
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in warehouse/yard environment
  • Can start ASAP
