Position Summary:
- The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all human resources functions within the collection agency, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and organizational development. This role supports the business in maintaining a productive, legally compliant, and people-centered work environment that enables the agency to meet its operational and regulatory goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for agents, supervisors, and support staff.
- Develop hiring strategies to meet high-volume hiring needs specific to the collections industry.
- Conduct background checks and ensure pre-employment requirements are met.
- Design and implement onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Foster a positive working environment while maintaining high ethical standards.
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution in accordance with labor laws and internal policies.
- Conduct stay interviews, exit interviews, and analyze employee turnover.
3. Performance Management
- Implement and manage performance evaluation processes, including KPIs for collection agents.
- Support supervisors and managers in coaching, corrective actions, and performance improvement plans.
- Align performance management strategies with collection targets and operational goals.
4. Compliance & Labor Law
- Ensure full compliance with labor regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law, especially concerning debt collection practices and call center operations.
- Prepare reports for DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, and other government-mandated agencies.
5. Training & Development
- Coordinate regular training sessions on collection best practices, compliance, communication, and workplace conduct.
- Support career development plans and internal promotions within the agency.
6. Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee payroll coordination in partnership with Finance/Payroll team.
- Manage employee benefits programs including government contributions, health insurance, and leave management.
- Assist in salary benchmarking and internal equity reviews.
7. HR Administration & Records
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and metrics for management review.
- Manage HRIS (Human Resources Information System), if applicable.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a BPO, call center, or collection agency environment.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial HR role.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Experience handling high-volume recruitment and agent-related issues.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS preferred.
- Strong ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
