Position Overview: We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Brand Manager to join our fast-growing e-commerce team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing brand strategy across a portfolio of niche Shopify-based stores. You will work closely with internal teams and contractors—including creatives, paid media specialists, customer service, and suppliers—to ensure brand consistency, drive growth, and enhance the overall customer experience.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in e-commerce and brand building, is comfortable managing day-to-day Shopify operations, and is adept at leading cross-functional initiatives that directly impact performance. You should be proactive, detail-oriented, data-driven, and confident in managing supplier relationships, product performance, ad strategy, and customer satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a brand (or multiple brands) and play a key role in scaling DTC businesses with the support of a talented backend team.

| KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |

**Brand Vision & Identity Development**
- Define and articulate each brand's unique value proposition, mission, and positioning within Wayne Grace Lane's portfolio of e-commerce stores.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive customer avatars using data-driven insights, including demographics, psychographics, purchasing behavior, and pain points.
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints (website, email, paid media, social, packaging, and customer communications), using established brand guidelines to maintain a cohesive identity and tone.
- Collaborate with creative, performance, and content teams to produce engaging, conversion-optimized messaging that aligns with customer needs and brand goals.
- Lead product storytelling and oversee creative direction of banners, landing pages, and homepage merchandising in Shopify.

**Supplier Relations & Product Strategy**
- Manage and grow supplier partnerships to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and delivery reliability, particularly in alignment with drop shipping and private-label models.
- Conduct regular product performance analyses and lifecycle reviews to identify best-sellers, optimize slow-moving SKUs, and expand offerings based on market demand.
- Use market and competitor research to identify emerging trends, product gaps, pricing shifts, and promotional opportunities in the niche.
- Coordinate with suppliers and operations teams to plan and execute new product launches, including sampling, QA, and landing page coordination.

**Shopify Store & Campaign Oversight**
- Oversee day-to-day Shopify store management, including product uploads, merchandising, collections organization, pricing, and UX enhancements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to align on Google Ads, paid traffic campaigns, social media strategy, website optimization, and graphic design needs—ensuring cohesive execution that supports brand growth and performance goals.
- Support marketing calendar planning, from seasonal promotions to evergreen campaigns, ensuring alignment between store readiness and marketing efforts.
**Customer Experience & Retention Management**
- Lead the customer service team to ensure timely, empathetic, and solutions-oriented support via email, chat, and phone.
- Analyze customer inquiries, reviews, and return data to identify operational friction points and areas for improvement in the product or buying experience.
- Design and implement feedback loops and CSAT/NPS surveys to measure customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
- Handle escalations and develop SOPs for crisis management, refund policies, and brand reputation recovery.

In summary, a Brand Manager in this role plays a vital part in developing brand vision and positioning, leading cross-functional collaboration across creative, performance, and customer experience teams, and managing the full scope of Shopify store operations. This includes overseeing supplier relations, product strategy, paid media execution, and the optimization of marketing and design assets to ensure cohesive brand experiences. By combining deep customer insight, operational oversight, and strategic marketing execution, the Brand Manager directly contributes to the success, growth, and long-term sustainability of a diverse portfolio of niche e-commerce brands.

| Qualifications |

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Brand Manager, preferably in the e-commerce or direct-to-consumer (DTC) space.
- Demonstrated experience managing a team of customer service representatives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Solid background in Shopify store management, including product uploads, store optimization, and third-party app integrations.
- Strong grasp of the dropshipping model, including supplier sourcing, product research, order fulfillment workflows, and delivery cycle management.
- Understanding of modern brand positioning strategies within a multi-brand portfolio.
- Familiarity with e-commerce KPIs (conversion rate, AOV, LTV, etc.) and using data to drive decisions.
- Experience with competitive analysis, identifying market gaps, and implementing strategies to outperform niche competitors.
- Knowledge of SEO, CRO (conversion rate optimization), and digital content strategies to improve brand visibility and performance.
- Competence in using email marketing platforms, customer service platforms (like Gorgias or Zendesk), and project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Trello, Asana).
- Strong visual and messaging sensibility, with an eye for maintaining consistent branding across product pages, emails, and social media.
- Ability to develop and manage product launches, marketing calendars, promotional campaigns, and influencer partnerships.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating across marketing, creative, and operations teams.
- Agile, resourceful, and able to quickly adapt to changing industry trends, technologies, and customer behaviors.
