About the Role
Salenga Law Firm is expanding and looking for a proactive, detail-driven Paralegal who wants work that goes beyond routine paperwork. If you enjoy digging into jurisprudence, building airtight case files, and even helping shape the law firm's voice online, you'll thrive here.
What You'll Do
- Lead legal research: Analyze statutes, case law, rules, and agency issuances; distill findings into clear, lawyer-ready memos and research briefs.
- Draft with precision: Prepare contracts, pleadings, affidavits, demand letters, and reports that meet courtroom standards and impress clients.
- Own the case record: Organize evidence, track deadlines and hearings, and maintain complete files—from subpoenas and returns to SEC/DTI/DOLE filings.
- Master filings & service: Assemble, format, and (e-)file submissions with courts and government offices; coordinate service and secure clear proof of filing.
- Be the liaison: Schedule and coordinate with clients, courts, sheriffs, and clerks; keep lawyers fully briefed and calendars accurate.
- Support compliance & deals: Flag risks in contract reviews, assist regulatory checks, and help run due-diligence lists for corporate transactions.
- Leverage tech: Use modern legal databases, tech-assisted research, e-filing portals, and productivity platforms.
- Handle social media: Manage and update the firm's social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok), ensuring posts are professional, accurate, and consistent with branding while engaging with the public in a respectful manner.
What You'll Bring

- Strong legal research and analytical writing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; eagerness to learn new legal tech tools
- Basic knowledge of social media content creation and account management

- High professionalism, confidentiality, and client-centric mindset
