About the Role

Salenga Law Firm is growing. We're looking for a proactive, detail-driven Paralegal who wants meaningful work beyond routine paperwork. Research that informs strategy, case files that hold up in court, and a hand in shaping the firm's online voice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Legal research: Analyze statutes, jurisprudence, rules, and agency issuances; produce clear, lawyer-ready memos and briefs.
  • Drafting: Prepare contracts, pleadings, affidavits, demand letters, and reports that meet courtroom standards.
  • Case management: Organize evidence, track deadlines/hearings, and maintain complete records. From subpoenas/returns to SEC/DTI/DOLE filings.
  • Filings & service: Assemble, format, and e-file submissions with courts and government agencies; coordinate service and secure proofs of filing.
  • Liaison work: Schedule and coordinate with clients, courts, sheriffs, and clerks; keep lawyers briefed and calendars accurate.
  • Compliance & deals: Flag risks in contract reviews, assist with regulatory checks, and run due-diligence lists for corporate matters.
  • Legal tech: Use databases, tech-assisted research, e-filing portals, and productivity tools.
  • Social media: Manage the firm's responsibility to society through posting professional, accurate, brand-consistent content and engaging respectfully with the public.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Law, or related field
  • Strong legal research and analytical writing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; willingness to learn new tech
  • Basic skill in social media content creation and account management
  • Meticulous attention to detail; strong deadline management
  • High professionalism, confidentiality, and client-first mindset
  • Willing to work on-site in Pasig City

Preferred

  • 1–3+ years as a paralegal/legal assistant
  • Familiarity with PH court practice, e-filing, and agency procedures (SEC, BIR, DOLE, HLURB/HSAC, etc.)
  • Experience writing captions, scheduling posts, or supporting firm social initiatives
