Summary of This Role

Provides essential administrative and communication support to ensure efficient office operations and smooth coordination of meetings and special company events. The role requires a working knowledge of office procedures and tools, applying sound judgment to routine tasks while consulting the manager on sensitive matters. Responsibilities include transcribing, typing, formatting, and proofreading various materials using word processing, presentation, graphics, and spreadsheet software; The role also involves maintaining office supplies and inventory, assisting with drafting inter-office communications, and supporting the preparation of reports, event logistics, and expense reporting.  

What Part Will You Play?
  • Performs administrative functions and low-level management tasks, some of which may be sensitive in nature. Employs good judgment in answering telephone and email correspondence, managing filing systems, organizing meetings and drafting inter-office communications  
  • Demonstrates the ability to interface with team members and external associates. Serves as a knowledge source for department staff regarding corporate policies, procedures, and other functional requirements.
  • Takes inventory of office supplies. Submits order request for approval and places orders, as directed.
  • Assist in drafting essential internal communications including intranet, newsletters, emails/memos using basic design platforms. Ensures a "corporate voice" permeates messaging to employees and stakeholders.
  • Assists in the execution and launch of special company events, both on and off-site. Reserves conference rooms, Meet Me Lines, or video conferencing locations. Partners with catering/vendors to order refreshments, as needed. Gathers required documents for expense reporting. Prepares and produces expense/budget reports for management review.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 
  • Typically Minimum 1 Year Relevant Exp 
  • Customer service or administrative support 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Relevant Experience or Degree in: Office Administration, Marketing, Communications, Business or related field 
  • Typically Minimum 2 Years Relevant Exp
