We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to join our growing startup team. In this role, you will help ensure the quality of our software products by executing test cases, identifying bugs, and working closely with developers to deliver reliable and user-friendly applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in software testing who wants to gain hands-on experience and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review user stories and requirements to understand product features.
  • Write, execute, and update test cases based on project needs.
  • Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, usability).
  • Report and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to verify fixes and improve product quality.
  • Provide feedback to improve testing processes and documentation.
  • Learn and gradually explore test automation tools (optional but encouraged).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (preferred, but not always required).
  • Some experience or strong interest in software testing (internship, project, or previous role).
  • Minimum of 1+ years commercial experience in software testing is required.
  • Basic knowledge of QA methodologies, test case writing, and bug reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced startup environment.
  • Familiarity with bug-tracking or project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana) is a plus.
  • Exposure to automated testing tools or scripting is a bonus, but not required.
