We are looking for a QA Tester to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our next-generation platforms and applications. The role will focus on testing both front-end interfaces and APIs, collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute test cases for front-end applications and APIs.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
  • Validate API responses, error handling, and data consistency using tools such as Postman or equivalent.
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.
  • Ensure front-end UI components meet design specifications and provide a consistent user experience.
  • Contribute to test planning, documentation, and reporting of results.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide input on quality risks and improvements.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience in front-end testing (UI validation, cross-browser testing, responsive design checks).
  • Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Ability to create clear, detailed test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.

Preferred (but not required)

  • Exposure to automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
  • Experience with API automation or scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Python).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and how testing integrates into release processes.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Work Setup: Onsite in either Cebu (Robinsons Cybergate) or Ormoc (Chinatown)

Shift Schedule: Weekdays, 9:00 PM- 6:00 AM local
