General Testing Responsibilities

  • analyzing user requirements and use cases for validity and testing of new and existing releases of hardware & software.
  • Review and analyze specifications with relation to new versions, releases, and software/hardware releases.
  • Design and develop, where possible automation scripts to ensure all testing is consistent and meets TCS Asia testing standards.
  • Apply quality engineering principles throughout the product lifecycle, including version checking, documentation, testing summaries, screenshots of new functionality and/or issues for review, and assistance with release notes and user guide planning.
  • Provide technical support and the required documentation (user guides, installation guides, technical guides, etc.) to TCS technicians as required.

Testing Duties and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate product code according to specifications for alignment to end product expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with project, technical and development team members and departments to ensure the software meets the requirements for use by casino customers.
  • Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration and Regression) on the software including post-release/ post-implementation testing.
  • Detect, research, recreate and track software defects and inconsistencies found during testing and be able to provide details to development for recreation and bug fixing.
  • Provide timely testing solutions to development.

Testing Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and execute plans to test product hardware systems.
  • Employ various types of testing, including functionality, safety, engineering drawing alignment, compatibility, stress, and systems tests.
  • Specific duties of hardware test engineers might include developing testing procedures, establishing test tool requirements, finding and fixing bugs in hardware, and recording test results, recommendation of issue & maintenance functions by users and technicians.
  • Document any changes made to hardware and take part in specification and design reviews with the product team.

  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role would be an asset.
  • Experience in project management and QA methodology.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing would be an asset.
  • Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and SQL.Strong English skills (written & verbal).
