Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management and Recording
Maintain and update inventory records monthly. Record all inventory transactions.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory data in coordination with stock clerk and project engineers.
Inventory Reconciliation
Perform monthly inventory reconciliations between the physical stock and accounting records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in coordination with stock clerk and project engineers.
Prepare inventory variance reports and provide recommendations to address issues.
Reporting and Analysis
Prepare regular inventory reports for management.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements by providing accurate inventory balances.
Compliance and Audit Support .
Assist during internal and external audits by providing necessary inventory-related documentation.
Implement and maintain internal control measures to safeguard inventory assets.
Coordination and Support
Coordinate with purchasing, stock clerk and project engineers for inventory-related concerns.
- Provide accounting support for inventory-related projects or process improvements.
- Assist in other accounting tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
