Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable: entering invoices, processing payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
  • Prepare and maintain financial documents, such as invoices, bills, purchase orders, and bank statements.
  • Perform data entry and update accounting records in software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Excel).
  • Help with bank reconciliations and ensure records match actual bank balances.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • File and organize financial documents for auditing and record-keeping purposes.
  • Assist in processing payroll and maintaining employee expense records.
  • Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding payments and statements.
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required by the accounting or finance team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good math and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong communication and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
  • Experience with ERP or financial systems.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations or payroll systems is a plus.
