We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to produce accurate and coordinated technical drawings for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing design and construction drawings across multiple disciplines — Architectural, Structural, and MEP — while ensuring full compliance with building codes, design standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Drafting:

  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details and convert design concepts or sketches into complete construction documents.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and coordinate with architects and designers to finalize layouts and finishes.

Structural Drafting:

  • Draft foundation, framing, and reinforcement plans with complete structural details, including bar bending schedules (BBS).
  • Ensure coordination between architectural and structural drawings and update plans based on design revisions and structural calculations.

MEP Drafting:

  • Prepare mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection layouts with proper annotations, legends, and required schematics (single-line and riser diagrams).
  • Coordinate MEP drawings with architectural and structural plans, incorporate engineer markups, and ensure technical accuracy.

General Duties:

  • Maintain drawing standards, layer management, and organized CAD files while supporting permit, tender, and construction documentation preparation.
  • Participate in design coordination meetings, incorporate feedback promptly, and ensure timely delivery of all drawings per project schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Architectural, Structural, or MEP Draftsman in construction or design projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant drafting software.
  • Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems and their coordination.
  • Open to project-based, independent contract work with compensation based on scope and per project deliverables.
