About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Buildsoft Cubit Estimator to join our growing team supporting a client in the Australian residential construction industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and material pricing for residential building projects in compliance with Australian standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in an analytical, fast-paced environment and has hands-on experience with Buildsoft Cubit and Australian construction estimating practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for residential construction projects using Buildsoft Cubit
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure accuracy in estimates
  • Research and obtain supplier pricing for materials and labor to support precise cost forecasting
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive estimate reports and documentation
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to align on cost expectations and project timelines
  • Ensure all estimates comply with Australian National Construction Codes and standards
  • Support ongoing updates of cost databases and pricing templates for continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Proven proficiency in Buildsoft Cubit software (mandatory)
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in quantity take-offs and cost estimation for Australian residential construction projects
  • Strong understanding of Australian National Construction Codes and local building standards
  • Experience working with supplier pricing, labor rates, and material costing
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for effective collaboration and reporting
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical thinking
  • Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet tight deadlines
  • Willingness to work onsite in Angeles City
  • Can start immediately.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (preferred)
