Key Responsibilities

1. Receiving of Raw Materials

  • Accept and inspect incoming raw materials from suppliers.
  • Verify quantity, quality, packaging integrity, batch/lot numbers, and expiration dates.
  • Coordinate with QA for sampling and quality checks.
  • Record discrepancies and report damages or shortages immediately.

2. Storage & Inventory Management

  • Store raw materials following FIFO/FEFO, safety guidelines, and proper segregation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas.
  • Monitor stock levels and highlight slow-moving or near-expiry materials.
  • Update inventory records in the system

3. Issuance to Production

  • Issue raw materials based on approved Production Requisition Forms.
  • Ensure correctness of quantity, batch/lot, and timeliness of deliveries.
  • Coordinate with Production for material availability and schedule.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate receiving logs, stock cards, and issuance reports.
  • Prepare daily/weekly inventory updates and stock status reports.
  • Participate in cycle counting and monthly physical inventory.

5. Safety, Security & Compliance

  • Follow company safety rules, PPE requirements, and 5S standards.
  • Ensure raw materials are stored safely to prevent contamination or damage.
  • Secure warehouse keys, documents, and restricted materials.
  • Support audit requirements (QA, Material Inventory Control).

Qualifications

  • High School or College Level; with related training is a plus.
  • Minimum 1 year warehouse experience (FMCG/manufacturing preferred).
  • Knowledge in stock management, FIFO/FEFO, and warehouse documentation.
  • Physically fit; able to lift and handle materials.
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory systems).
