Role Overview:

The Qlik Sense Specialist will be part of the Data Engineering team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining interactive dashboards and analytical solutions that empower business users with actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Qlik Sense development, strong understanding of data modeling, and excellent communication skills to work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders across multiple business domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards and applications to support business reporting and analytics needs.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to source, transform, and model data from Snowflake, SQL Server, and other data sources.
  • Optimize data models and Qlik applications for performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Implement visualizations, KPIs, and storyboards aligned with business requirements and design best practices.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate them into efficient dashboard designs.
  • Conduct unit testing, validation, and documentation of dashboards and data logic.
  • Ensure adherence to Partners Group's data governance, security, and quality standards.
  • Support ongoing enhancements, troubleshoot performance issues, and deploy updates through established CI/CD pipelines.
  • Partner with the Data Analytics and Insights team to align reporting outputs with strategic decision-making requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4–7 years of experience in Qlik Sense dashboard development, data modeling, and visualization.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience integrating data from multiple structured sources (e.g., Snowflake, SQL Server, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with Qlik data load scripting, section access, and application deployment.
  • Good understanding of data architecture concepts — particularly within modern data warehouse environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with private equity, financial services, or investment management data.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS) and data governance tools
  • Knowledge of automation or integration tools used within the PG Data Engineering ecosystem.
