CAD Operator

We are looking for a CAD Operator that supports the design and project execution process by producing accurate, detailed, and coordinated technical drawings. Working closely with the Senior Designer(s). This role ensures that all plans align with design intent, regulatory standards, and construction requirements while maintaining Decorum by MIL's commitment to precision and luxury excellence.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Prepare and develop technical drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, and details

Translate conceptual designs into construction-ready CAD drawings

Coordinate drawings with designers, renderers, consultants, and contractors

Update and revise drawings based on design development, site conditions, and client feedback

Ensure accuracy in dimensions, annotations, and specifications

Maintain organized CAD files and drawing standards in accordance with office SOPs

Assist in shop drawing reviews and as-built documentation when required

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Bachelor's Degree or diploma in Drafting, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field

At least 2 years experience in AutoCAD (strongly required)

SketchUp/Revit is a plus

Strong understanding of interior construction details, materials, and joinery

Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings

High level of accuracy, organization, and technical discipline

Ability to work efficiently under timelines and coordinate with the team

Preferred Experience in interior fit-out, hospitality/commercial, or luxury residential projects

Familiarity with local building standards and construction practices

Experience working with design studios or multidisciplinary teams

Detail-oriented with a refined eye for luxury, proportion, and atmosphere

Ability to manage & support multiple deadlines and revisions efficiently

Strong portfolio showcasing polished CAD drawings

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Proficient in Google Workspace, MS 365 and Documentation tools

Must have a reliable laptop and internet access, hybrid work set-up with the opportunity for remote work; on-site presence is required as needed
