About the role

LEC STEEL MANUFACTURING CORP.' is seeking a talented Sr. CAD Operator to join our dynamic team in Quezon City Metro Manila. As a full-time member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in computer-aided design to support the development and production of our innovative steel products.

What you'll be doing

  • Creating and modifying 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models to specification
  • Collaborating with engineers and designers to interpret requirements and translate them into accurate technical drawings
  • Ensuring all CAD files adhere to industry standards and internal design protocols
  • Providing guidance and support to junior CAD operators to maintain high-quality output
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest CAD software and techniques to optimise productivity and efficiency
  • Liaising with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to CAD files

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of experience as a CAD Operator, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing industry
  • Expert knowledge of AutoCAD and other industry-standard CAD software
  • Strong understanding of engineering drafting principles and the ability to interpret technical specifications
  • Proficient in 3D modelling and the use of CAD tools to create complex designs
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset to continuously improve processes
