We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Operator to join our team. The CAD Operator will work closely with our engineering/design team to create detailed drawings, plans, and designs using computer-aided design software. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in drafting, excellent proficiency in CAD software, and a meticulous approach to producing accurate drawings that meet project requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers.
  • Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) to prepare drawings in 2D and 3D formats.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and timely.
  • Modify drawings as directed and incorporate changes per feedback and redlines.
  • Maintain drawing files, documentation, and project records in an organized manner.
  • Assist in the review and coordination of drawings with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, industry codes, and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or certification in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Drafting, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a CAD Operator or similar role in drafting and design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar programs.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Familiarity with construction or engineering terminology and practices is a plus.
