About the role

LEC STEEL MANUFACTURING CORP.' is seeking a talented CAD Operator to join our team in Quezon City Metro Manila. As a CAD Operator, you will be responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings and designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This full-time role is crucial in supporting our Engineering department and ensuring the accurate representation of our manufacturing processes and products.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate CAD software to create, edit, and update 2D and 3D technical drawings and models
  • Interpret engineering specifications, blueprints, and other technical documents to produce accurate CAD drawings
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure designs meet requirements and standards
  • Maintain an organised filing system for CAD drawings and related documents
  • Provide support and training to other team members on the use of CAD software
  • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest CAD software and industry trends

What we're looking for

  • Diploma or degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a CAD Operator or Drafter, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Proficient in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and precise technical drawings
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret engineering specifications
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with engineering practices, materials, and manufacturing processes
