Job Overview:

The Live Stream Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end production of live streams, ensuring high-quality broadcasts that engage and captivate audiences. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and organizational skills to execute seamless live events.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Production:

  • Set up and test all necessary equipment, including cameras, microphones, lighting, and streaming software.
  • Develop scripts, outlines, or run-of-show documents to ensure smooth and cohesive broadcasts.

Production:

  • Operate live streaming software and hardware during broadcasts.
  • Manage on-screen elements such as overlays, graphics, transitions, and multimedia content.
  • Monitor live streams for quality assurance and troubleshoot technical issues in real-time.
  • Coordinate with hosts, guests, and crew to maintain the flow and timing of the broadcast.

Post-Production:

  • Edit and repurpose live stream recordings into highlight reels, promotional content, or archives.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve the overall production process.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in live streaming platforms (e.g., OBS, Streamlabs, Restream).
  • Familiarity with video, audio, and lighting equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Experience with video editing software is a plus.
