OVERVIEW:

  • To supervise and ensure the efficiency of the operations of Finance Department in relation to Cash management, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger;
  • To prepare and ensure timely and accurate Financial Reporting to internal and external parties to help management in making financials decisions.
  • To assist with company loan requirements; and
  • To ensure compliance to the requirements of different government agencies i.e., Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Board of Investments (BOI), and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Perspective (if applicable to the positions)

  • Assist the Finance Head to secure and avail credit lines with various financial institutions.
  • Provide recommendations on the budget for the following items:

Operations / Internal Business Perspective (if applicable to the positions)

  • Monitor the activities of the Accounts Receivable Team to ensure timely validation and posting of all collections.
  • Ensure timely printing and transmittal of all receipts to the Customer Management Group (CMG) Collection Team.
  • Review reconciliation of major General Ledger (GL) accounts per book.
  • Prepare the full financial package and ensure timely and accurate submission of reports.
  • Check and review Loan Payment Schedule of accounts under Contract to Sell (CTS) Financing.
  • Review the tax returns for submission to Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and ensure timely remittances of tax dues, if applicable.
  • Prepare and ensure timely compliance with the requirement of Board of Investments (BOI):
  • Assist the Legal and Technical Services Group in the completion of the required documents to BOI for application for new project and compliance of the registered projects.
  • Assist the Finance Head during the conduct of BIR Audit.
  • Implement process improvements for better customer (internal and external clients) satisfaction.
  • Provide regular reportorial requirement to the management.
  • Implement Data Privacy policies and programs.

Organizational Development / Innovation & Learning Perspective

  • Recommend strategies to improve the operational efficiency and customer (internal/external) satisfaction.
  • Ensure continuous improvement by institutionalizing/amending/nullify processes in pursuits of providing efficient, effective, and flexible services to the group's stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate individual performance and recommend corrective and/or developmental actions as needed.

Customer Perspective

  • Coordinate with internal partners to prepare accurate monthly financials.
  • Coordinate with external customers (i.e., Auditors, Financial Institutions, Government Agencies, and Stockholders) and other Departments to ensure alignment of policies, targets, and processes.
  • Ensure higher talent retention in the group.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • With at least 5 to 7 years of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and accounting operations experience preferably in the real estate industry
  • Certified Public Accountant would have an advantage.
