What you'll be doing

  • Assist the Chief Finance Officer in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  • Support the month-end close process, including account reconciliations and journal entries
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to the management team to aid in decision-making
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient financial processes and controls are in place
  • Led the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports as required
  • Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems (SAP) and technologies
  • Provide training and guidance to junior finance staff as needed

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance + License CPA
  • At least 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the financial accounting and reporting domain as risk analysis.
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
  • Proficient in the use of financial software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Excel, QuickBooks, SAP)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Amenable to work in Mandaluyong City.
