About The Role
The Assistant Finance Manager is responsible for supporting the overall financial management of the company, with a strong focus on people leadership, compliance, financial reporting, and efficient cash management. This role works closely with internal teams, external auditors, and government agencies to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.

You Will
People Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.
• Allocate tasks effectively, monitor team progress, and provide coaching to build technical and soft skills.

External Audit & BIR/Tax Engagements

• Coordinate with external auditors during year-end audits, ensuring timely submission of requirements.
• Manage engagements with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and other regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Prepare and review tax filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory deadlines.

Working Capital & Cash Management

• Monitor cash flow, receivables, and payables to optimize working capital.
• Implement strategies to improve liquidity and minimize financial risks.

Month-End Financial Closing & Reporting

• Oversee and review month-end closing activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for management decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Ad Hoc Tasks

• Support management with special projects, financial analysis, and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as required to support the finance department's objectives.

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 3-5 years of managerial experience or equivalent leadership role in finance/accounting.
• Updated knowledge of Philippine tax regulations, rulings, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage the full month-end financial closing process independently.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to guide and mentor team members.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Demonstrates good work ethics, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Willing to report on-site in Makati 4-5 times a week.
• Proficient in accounting systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
