BASIC FUNCTION

The
Sales Specialist
is responsible for promoting and selling the company's products, building strong customer relationships, and driving business growth through continuous learning and professional development. The role requires in-depth product knowledge, industry awareness, and the ability to connect with key decision-makers to foster long-term partnerships.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Responsibilities

  1. Develop an in-depth understanding of the company's history, mission, and vision.
  2. Acquire strong product knowledge including product source, processing, and various food applications.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers (owners, general managers, head chefs, and other executives) to foster collaboration and partnerships.

Self-Directed Learning and Development

  1. Conduct research on assigned customer clusters (e.g., hotels, international and local restaurant chains, coffee shops, caterers, independent food accounts).
  2. Stay updated on the latest industry and food trends, as well as new market entrants.
  3. Participate in relevant industry associations and networks (e.g., Restaurants and Chefs associations).
  4. Proactively establish and expand a professional network within the food and hospitality industry.

QUALIFICATION GUIDES

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or any related field (preferred but not required)
  • At least 1 year of sales or customer-facing experience in food, hospitality, or related industries is an advantage but
    fresh graduates are welcome to apply
    .

  • Professional and pleasing personality with the ability to represent the company confidently
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills
