Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle to attract, assess, and hire qualified candidates for the organization. This role partners with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Hiring
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes: sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and create job descriptions.
- Conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and facilitate decision-making discussions.
2. Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development
- Identify and engage top talent through online platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, social media, etc.).
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
- Attend job fairs, recruitment events, and network within industry groups.
3. Employer Branding
- Promote the company's culture and values to attract quality candidates.
- Assist in creating recruitment marketing strategies and employer branding content.
4. Process Improvement & Reporting
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Provide regular recruitment metrics and insights (time-to-hire, source effectiveness, turnover trends).
- Recommend improvements to optimize hiring efficiency and candidate experience.
5. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all recruitment practices comply with labor laws and internal policies.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR (1–3 years typically preferred).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of recruitment techniques and sourcing tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple positions and deadlines.
- Familiarity with ATS, HRIS, and other HR software.
- Strong interviewing and assessment skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
