This role is responsible for the integrity and accuracy of the Branch's loan portfolio, directly impacting the Bank's operational efficiency and risk profile. The position manages a high volume of complex transaction and is accountable for the meticulous preparation of all loan and guarantee-related documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of all necessary documents, including offer letters, letters of intent, and confirmation letters, for new, renewed, and extended loans and guarantees.
  • Manage and maintain all customer and account details, such as loan amount, interest rate, maturity, and collateral.
  • Collect, maintain, and file legal documents to ensure all transactions are properly recorded and stored.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle the disbursement of approved loans and the processing of periodic interest collections and principal repayments.
  • Actively manage past-due and impaired accounts, initiating legal action when necessary.
  • Manage and enhance the Aither system and other related platforms to optimize loan and credit functions.
  • Prepare and submit accurate credit-related reports to management, Head Office, and regulatory bodies like Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
  • Analyze and assess customer businesses to identify potential transactions.
  • Process credit analysis and approval procedures for loans and guarantees.
  • Structure the terms and conditions for customer transactions and monitor credit lines to align with the bank's strategy.
  • Manage Credit Bureau system to maintain accurate records.
  • Fulfill any additional tasks assigned by management.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in corporate banking operations, with a strong focus on loan and credit functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of loan origination, disbursement, and management process.
  • Familiarity with BSP regulations and credit reporting requirements
  • Proven ability to work with and manage credit-related systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
