What You'll Do

Be part of our client's team as a Loan Officer Assistant. You will handle loan documentation, maintain data accuracy, and coordinate with key stakeholders to support smooth loan processing. What You'll Need to Succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
• 2-3 years of experience in mortgage brokerage or financial services (loan processing or origination support is a plus)
• Familiarity with loan origination systems (Encompass, Calyx, or similar) is desirable
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage multiple files, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools

What You'll Take On Every Day

• Collect, verify, and organize borrower documentation (income statements, credit reports, bank statements, etc.)
• Prepare and review loan applications for completeness before submission
• Input and maintain accurate data in the loan origination system (LOS) and CRM
• Coordinate and follow up with appraisers, title companies, and insurance providers
• Track loan file progress and ensure compliance requirements and deadlines are met
• Draft and send communications to clients, partners, and internal teams on behalf of the Loan Officer
• Assist with pipeline management, reporting, file status checks, and escalation of urgent issues
• Provide administrative support such as scheduling appointments, preparing reports, and maintaining client records
