
Senior People and Culture Generalist

The Sr. People & Culture Specialist is responsible for the successful implementation of a variety of People & Culture tasks and initiatives, such as Human Resources Administration, Talent Acquisition, Training & Organizational Development, and Employee Engagement.
The People & Culture Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the agency remains to have a strong and caring culture with a flourishing and vibrant environment that fosters good and meaningful relationships between its members and a healthy work-life balance for all.
They collaborate with the management team in building a healthy ecosystem that upholds the culture of the agency by focusing on the overall employee experience such as leading and conceptualizing culture focused initiatives and activities that promote employee engagement, leading the implementation of talent acquisition process of the company, leading and organizing the implementation of talent development workshops and sessions of other departments, and focusing on the wellbeing of the employees by promoting programs that support a healthy work environment
.
The role stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices and is able to identify new opportunities and strategies for improving overall performance as well as growth.
Assists the Chief Culture Officer/People Culture Officer in:
- Focusing on the employee life cycle and developing people strategies and workforce plans in line with business requirements.
- Implementation of hire-to-retire processes, including onboarding, off-boarding, and orientation programs.
- Working closely with pertinent Department Heads to fulfill the staffing needs of the department, ensuring optimization of resources in each department, and making recommendations for immediate and long-term sustainability.
- Collaborating on the audit of local processes from time to time to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Keeping abreast of changes in local labor laws and practices and proactively managing labor/employee relations that are consistent with local requirements, to ensure an environment of trust and collaboration.
- Providing consultancy/advisory services on handling employee grievances and disciplinary cases when necessary.
Talent Acquisition and Retention
- Implementation and improvement of the existing hiring process from targeted recruitment, implementation of reference checks, skills tests, interviews, and ensuring the onboarding process goes smoothly from the Operations department to the employee's respective department.
- Collaborate with the management team in the development and implementation of initiatives aligned with the business goals covering retention, succession planning, expansion, training, and leadership development.
Training & Organizational Development
- Championing and creating a nurturing, coaching, and mentoring environment to create a home for talent.
- Implementation and improvement of the processes in place for the identification, pooling, and selection of Learning and Development programs of the company.
- Familiarity of talent across the business and focusing on their development and growth.
- Reviewing all company-sponsored courses and assessing effectiveness/ROI.
Human Resources Administration
- Effective implementation of People and Culture processes, policies, and procedures.
- Assisting in the regular review of People and Culture policies and procedures and ensuring employee services are updated.
- Assisting in the identification, procurement, or development of HRIS platforms or other management tools that can increase productivity and improve internal processes.
- Assisting in the research, development, and implementation of software programs that can aid in the productivity and skill enhancement of the team.
Employee Engagement
- Responsible for leading and the implementation of company events and programs that strengthen culture, employee well-being, and alignment of organizational values.
- Responsible for ensuring the internal and external communications regarding policies, programs, and compliance requirements are handled with clarity.
- Collaborate in ensuring that Company Values are driven from culture to behavior through employee engagement programs, policies, and initiatives.
- Work with relevant departments to lead activities that build engagement, unity, pride, and a strong employee Company Culture that reflects our mission and values.
Qualifications
- Preferably a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Advertising, Mass Communication, Communication Arts, or any related field.
- Experience of 2-3 years in Human Resources / People and Culture or related roles is a must.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, manage time effectively, and handle confidential information in a fast-paced environment while adapting to changes.
- Strong interpersonal skills that focus on employee relations, employee engagement, and learning & development while practicing empathy, diplomacy, and teamwork.
- Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethics and uphold company values.
- Experience in human resources in advertising agencies or marketing companies is a must.
