Role Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive E-Commerce Store Operations Manager (Shopify Expert) to join our fast-growing online business. In this role, you will oversee customer service operations, manage orders and inventory, and support back-office functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries via email, chat, and social media with professionalism and empathy
  • Process orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently through Shopify and ShipStation
  • Coordinate shipping from suppliers and monitor inventory to ensure product availability
  • Maintain and update inventory records using Google Sheets and Excel (must-have skills)
  • Assist in creating or editing marketing materials and visual assets using Canva (preferred)
  • Proactively identify process improvements and implement self-maintenance systems
  • Adapt quickly to new tools, workflows, and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

Mandatory Skills & Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge and 2+ years of experience in Shopify (MUST)
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel (MUST)
  • Experience using ChatGPT for workflow enhancement and customer communication
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Exceptional written communication skills in English
  • Proven experience managing inventory and coordinating shipping processes
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with ShipStation
  • Basic proficiency in Canva (a plus)
  • Experience working in a direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce environment
