Components and system solutions from Beckhoff are used in a wide range of sectors and applications worldwide.

The central divisions of Beckhoff, including development and production, are located at the Beckhoff headquarters in Verl, Germany. Beckhoff is represented by 23 branches located across Germany, 41 subsidiaries worldwide, and is present in more than 75 countries on the international market.

Our team in Philippines consists of sales, marketing and application support.

You will report to the application manager.

Responsibilities

  • support the Sales team regarding technical questions on Beckhoff's solutions
  • provide consultation on automation solutions based on customers' needs
  • technical support for customers during projects and after sales such as testing, commissioning and troubleshooting
  • conduct standard and customized training sessions for customers and partners
  • participate in Beckhoff seminars/exhibitions/events to support and share information on technology and functions
  • support customers across the different cities in the Philippines as necessary

Qualifications & requirements

  • bachelor's degree in automation/mechatronic/electrical/electronic engineering or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in technical support/R&D, preferably in the factory automation or machine builder industry
  • experienced in programming PLC, HMI, SCADA systems, and fieldbus systems
  • familiar with programming languages: IEC with object-oriented extensions)
  • naturally curious and enthusiastic about technology
  • must be a team player and willing to travel to provide on-site support
