Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and evaluate residential, commercial, and agricultural properties offered as loan collateral.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to determine the fair market value of properties.
  • Prepare and submit detailed appraisal reports with accurate and clear documentation.
  • Coordinate with loan officers and the credit department to communicate appraisal results and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, credit assessment standards, and legal guidelines.
  • Update and maintain records of appraisals and track appraisal-related documentation.
  • Perform regular follow-ups on existing collateral and reappraisal as needed.
  • Participate in credit risk review meetings by providing technical insights on property valuations.
  • Travel to various locations as required, preferably with a valid driver's license and ability to drive.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Real Estate Management, Finance or related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a credit appraiser or in property valuation, preferably in a banking environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of appraisal techniques, property laws, and market dynamics.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines within a team setting.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and ability to travel for site inspections.
