We're looking for a Community Retention Specialist to lead the charge in lowering our monthly churn and improving member satisfaction. This is a performance-driven role with long-term growth potential for the right candidate.

About the Role
This position will begin as a part-time, contractor role (15–20 hrs/week) during the first 90 days, with the opportunity to transition to a full-time role based on performance after 90 days

The primary goal is simple: develop and implement systems that reduce churn and create a more engaged, high-retention community experience. Applicants who are offered full-time positions will be eligible for annual performance-based bonuses.

Key Responsibilities
-Conduct an audit of current onboarding, engagement, and retention processes

-Design and implement strategies to reduce churn to between 5–9% monthly

-Proactively monitor member activity to identify and re-engage at-risk users

-Collaborate with the Community Manager to enhance member experience and accountability

-Develop scalable SOPs and retention systems for the internal team to maintain

-Track and report key metrics weekly (e.g., churn %, engagement %, reactivation success rates)

Qualifications
-Proven experience in retention, community management, or similar roles in membership-based platforms or SaaS

-Documented success reducing churn or increasing member LTV in prior roles

-Familiarity with Skool or similar platforms is a strong advantage

-Strong communication and data analysis skills

-Systems-oriented, with the ability to create replicable processes

-Reliable, self-directed, and results-driven in remote work environments

Terms & Compensation
Rate: Partime | Upwork | 6.00/Hr - 7.00Hr during the 90-day trial period. Based on Performance Eval transition to Full Time Hours (40+)

Time Commitment: Part-time (15–20 hours/week to start)

Schedule: Monday–Friday; weekends and U.S. holidays off

Contract Platform: All applicants must be willing to contract through Upwork

Full-Time Potential: Eligible for full-time employment and annual bonuses after 90-day review
