About the role

SPOTTS Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Certified Public Accountant to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila. As a full-time member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  2. Performing detailed account reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
  3. Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and ensuring timely compliance with all tax obligations
  4. Providing support in the implementation of internal controls and accounting procedures
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
  6. Participating in the development and improvement of accounting processes and systems
  7. Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. A valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting
  4. Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  5. Proficiency in using financial software and spreadsheet applications
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  7. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  8. Effective communication and collaboration skills
