Qualifications:

  • Valid CPA license from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) with updated PRC ID.

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from a CHED-recognized institution.

  • Proven experience in financial management and accounting operations, preferably in professional services or architecture/engineering/construction firms (minimum 3-5 years preferred).

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong knowledge of BIR regulations, PFRS, tax compliance requirements, and project-based accounting.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with management, project teams, suppliers, and contractors.

  • Background in job costing, contract administration, and construction billing is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).

  • Ensure compliance with BIR requirements including timely filing of income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, and percentage tax returns.

  • Oversee project-based accounting and job costing to track profitability across multiple projects.

  • Process expanded withholding tax (EWT) for professional fees and manage VAT compliance for construction transactions.

  • Coordinate with external auditors and prepare required SEC, BIR, and LGU reports.

  • Develop budgets, cash flow projections, and financial forecasts to support strategic planning.

  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for management review.
