Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical licensed certified public accountant (CPA) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering accurate financial reporting and strategic analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
  • File federal, state, and local tax returns; ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws.
  • Conduct audits and internal reviews to assess financial accuracy and procedural compliance.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Provide financial advice and recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and tax authorities as needed.
  • Mentor junior accounting staff and support team development.

Requirements:

  • Active CPA license
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting or finance experience (public or private)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and audit standards
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in public accounting
  • CPA with specialization in (tax, audit, government, etc).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php35, Php40,000.00 per month
