The position will focus on coordination and delivering Finance Operational support across the team and the wider group.

Working alongside a team of skilled finance professionals you will be a key part of the Lending and Technology – Financial Operations team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing daily payment processes; including redraws, refunds, top-ups/loan
  • advances, and progress payments.
  • Reconcile settlements and collections accounts on a daily, weekly, monthly basis, ensuring that all transactions (drawdowns, repayments, and intercompany transactions) are accurately reflected in the Group's accounting system/GL.
  • Identify discrepancies between the bank statements and GL, investigate the cause of discrepancies, and propose solutions for resolution.
  • Management of Ad hoc transactions in Loan Management System; ensuring all customer transaction are posted accurately and within business SLAs.
  • Managing Finance Operations inbox and ensuring customer queries are responded to within 24-48 hours in line with KPIs.
  • Provide back-up support across Finance Operations functions as required.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and deliver automation or streamline processes.
  • Enhance internal controls around cash movements and ensure segregation of duties and compliance with internal policies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar finance or accounting role, with a focus on Finance operations [Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable], is required.
  • Experience with Australian financial services/lending business is preferred.
