What You'll be Doing:

New Business Development (Hunting)

  • Identify and target new enterprise clients across key industry verticals (e.g., CPG/FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail, BFSI) for long term partnerships.
  • Develop outreach strategies and engage prospects through cold calls, emails, events, social selling, and partner collaboration.
  • Conduct client presentations, pitch tailored Data & Analytics services, and lead proposal development in coordination with delivery/pre-sales teams
  • Lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles, including RFPs, multi-stakeholder presentations, and commercial negotiations.

Account Management & Growth (Farming)

  • Build trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders in existing accounts.
  • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities for services such as Data Engineering, BI & Visualization, Cloud Migrations, and AI/ML.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure service quality, customer satisfaction, and long-term retention.
  • Create quarterly account growth plans and track performance against targets.
  • Leverage executive relationships and success stories to expand footprint within large enterprises.

Operational Excellence & CRM Discipline

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, opportunities, contacts, and account information in the CRM (Salesforce).
  • Ensure timely follow-ups, pipeline hygiene, and stage progression tracking
  • Prepare regular reports and forecasts on sales performance, pipeline status, and account growth metrics
  • Coordinate internal efforts between pre-sales, delivery, legal, finance, and marketing and lead the sales process.
  • Adhere to internal governance protocols and participate in weekly/monthly reviews.

Market Intelligence & Collaboration

  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the Data & AI ecosystem.
  • Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and partner-led forums.
  • Collaborate with partner teams (e.g., GCP, Snowflake, Databricks) to build joint value propositions and co-sell.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Has 4–8 years of experience in business development/sales within IT services, preferably focused on Data & Analytics.
  • Proven track record in both hunting and farming roles.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and disciplined in managing sales operations.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS, Snowflake) and modern analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Databricks) is desired.
